No Pulitzer prizes for Goldberg

DEAR EDITOR:

Re: Jonah Goldberg's column Wednesday

The right wing nut writers for the MDJ will write, and the MDJ will print anything, as long as it either makes fun, or tells lies about the president. To disagree politically is one thing, but making up things and using a so called NEWSpaper as a sounding board is another. Mr. Goldberg is now griping because Obama announced the killing of the United States' biggest enemy three hours after the fact. What would he propose? I guess he would like for President Obama to apologize for the taking out of the most dangerous terrorist in the world.

As for saving the secret files by not announcing the death of Osama bin Laden, that is the most inane statement I have ever heard from a supposedly intelligent person. I guess as long as Goldberg can find a sucker to print his garbage, he will continue to say untruths about the president. For Goldberg's information, gloating was defined by President Bush landing on an aircraft carrier and announcing under a banner that stated "Mission Accomplished" when it clearly was not.

If it was wrong for President Obama to announce the killing of Osama Bin Laden, then it was clearly wrong for the U.S. to invade Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Goldberg will never win a Pulitzer Prize for his off-the-wall commentaries.

M.K. Kilgore will never win a Pulitzer Prize for his off-the-wall commentaries, either. A logical thought, here and there, while detracting from the entertainment value of his letters, would be appreciated.

Great points Indian Joe and as a matter of fact Osama Bin Ladin "IS NOT DEAD". He is in a state of suspended animation with Elvis and Michel Jackson in hanger 51 near Roswell N.M.

I don't believe Goldberg's column even suggested that obama apologize - I think the point he was trying to make is that so much was made public that the filkes and intel that was gathered became worthless once it was announced that they had been taken in the raid. Also, please remember that from what I have read, obama did not even know about this raid until he was dragged off the golf course. He had been advised not to autahorize it, and it was only Panetta, Clinton and Robert Gates who took the bull by the horn and went ahead and authorized it before it could be leaked and thwarted. It is not so much that he announced the killing, it is what he has continued to do, and that is to take full credit, and also to talk TOO MUCH and TELL TOO MUCH, as though he has to constantly pad himself on his own back,. And Dixieboy - maybe you can tell us all why over $2 million was spent to keep this birth certificate a secret, as well as all college, travel and scholarship information. Find it hard to believe that Donald Trump was able to get this information released after 2 years, when no one else was able to. Incidentally, about 90% of computer experts now say that this supposed birth certificate is a forgery and has been altered. Even to the point of a child born the day after his birth has a registration number lower than that on his certificate.

All this may be true but so fare Obama has only produced his regular birth certificate and long form birth certificate. How about the Extra-Long form birth certificate. What is he trying to hide from the American people?
