KENNESAW – Cobb County police suspect foul play in the death of a Kennesaw man found dead in his driveway over the weekend.

Milton Carl Kelley, 53, was found by uniform officers when they responded to an emergency call received at 10:45 p.m. Saturday on Leicester Drive in a subdivision off Bells Ferry Road at Interstate 575.

When the officers arrived, they located the body of a male lying in the driveway of the residence, according to police. The victim had been shot and had died of his injuries, police said.

Police declined to say how many times he had been shot. But detectives confirmed that Kelley lived at the residence.

“We are working it as a homicide,” Cobb Officer Mike Bowman said Sunday. “We are not speculating or releasing anymore information at this time, as it is still an active ongoing investigation and attempting to gather information.”

Anyone with information that may assist investigators with the case is asked to call Cobb police at (770) 499-3945.
